Federally supported U.S. hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs) deliver integrated, specialized care and services for individuals and families living with bleeding disorders. Interactions with healthcare providers and services can influence health outcomes and quality of care. Patient satisfaction with healthcare team members and services are key quality metrics, as indicated by the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, associated with patient engagement, treatment adherence, and improved outcomes.

In 2021, the United States Hemophilia Treatment Center Network conducted the third U.S. HTC Patient Satisfaction Survey to gather direct patient and family input on satisfaction with their HTC healthcare team and services. The network received a robust response to the survey.

In this webinar, Mr. Shabtaie and Ms. Lattimore will describe key results from the third survey, compare results from the previous two surveys, and highlight how satisfaction differs across patient populations.

Learning Objectives:

  1. State the purpose and value of the U.S. HTC Patient Satisfaction Survey.
  2. List two key findings from the third U.S. HTC Patient Satisfaction Survey.
  3. Describe how stakeholders can use the U.S. HTC Patient Satisfaction Survey in a changing healthcare landscape.

This webinar is free and open to healthcare providers, pharmacists, and public health researchers who desire more information about hemophilia. Advance registration is required, and the number of attendees is limited.
