Case Conversation Series

The FWGBD Case Conversation Series will feature case-based presentations and discussion by leading experts in the areas of hematology and reproductive health on the diagnosis, treatment and management of blood disorders affecting women and girls across the lifespan. This virtual series will also offer a special emphasis on the ways in which collaboration between key specialists (i.e., hematology and reproductive health) augments management.

The principal goals of this virtual forum are to: (a) enhance participants’ understanding of the current state of knowledge; (b) utilize current cases to shape the discussion; (c) provide an overview of evidence-based, practical information as well as new, effective approaches to the diagnosis, testing, and assessment of disorders affecting women and girls; and (d) provide experience in reviewing and critiquing research. Each session will feature recent key articles to support the discussion. All registrants will receive a copy of the selected journal articles in advance.
