Kerry B. Funkhouser, EdD

Executive Director

Kerry works closely with the board to set the overall strategy of the foundation and oversees all aspects of the day-to-day management, including partnership development, education, and communications of the foundation. Kerry has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, including serving as the director of a coordinated school health program developed for a national non-profit focused on the prevention of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Katherine Cantu Anguiano, MPH

Manager of Education

Katherine has responsibility for ensuring educational excellence through both the online and in-person channels of the Foundation. She is responsible for the development of provider education courses and assists with the development of educational content, implementation, and evaluation of all existing and new online and on-site education programs. Katherine’s experience and educational background are in public and community health, where she has experience in research coordination and health education for women+ and families. Elizabeth Kearns

Program Coordinator

Elizabeth has responsibility for the event management aspects of the foundation’s programs, coordination of board and medical advisory meetings, as well as managing the logistics of internal and external meetings. Elizabeth spent 16 years in magazine publishing, as a business manager, and brings her exceptional organizational and budgeting skills to the foundation. Elizabeth may be reached at

Jennifer Longo

Membership and Database Services Manager

Jennifer primarily oversees the organization’s Membership Program, as well as the organization’s membership and donor database, maintaining its efficiency and integrity. She responds to membership and patron inquiries, and provides assistance in the operations/logistics of all member engagement events. Jennifer has acquired ample experience in database management, quality assurance, fundraising, and special events. Her experience in the non-profit industry includes environmental beautification, stewardship and research, youth mentoring, and various aspects of the health field – all with an educational component. Manager, Digital Communications and Social Media
