Description: Structural racism has been and remains a fundamental cause of persistent health disparities in the United States. This presidential advisory by the AHA reviews the historical context, current state, and potential solutions to address structural racism in our country.

Join representatives from the American Heart Association, American Society of Health System Pharmacists, and the Anticoagulation Forum for a discussion of the article in the first of a four-part series on racial disparities in health care.
