FWGBD Welcomes Two New MAC Members

The Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders (FWGBD) is pleased to welcome Michelle Sholzberg, MDCM, MSc, FRCPC, and Kinga Malinowski, MD, MSc, FRCSC, to its Medical Advisory Board (MAC), effective January 2026.

Dr. Sholzberg is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and a clinician-scientist in hematology whose work focuses on coagulation, bleeding risk, and the intersection of women’s health and bleeding disorders.

Dr. Malinowski is a Professor at McMaster University and Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician at the University of Toronto, with clinical and research expertise in hematologic conditions affecting pregnancy, including sickle cell disease.

FWGBD looks forward to the expertise and leadership they will bring in advancing care and education for women and girls with blood disorders.
