ISTH Provides New Guidance for Diagnosis, Treatment of VITT

The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) has issued interim guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT). This guidance, which builds upon the work of ISTH’s international partners, should be used to inform the management of suspected thrombosis in subjects who have recently received the AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. View the guidance here and download a diagnostic flowchart here.
