Join FWGBD for a Roundtable on Heavy Menstrual Bleeding in Adolescents and Rare Bleeding Disorders

FWGBD is pleased to announce that Kerry Funkhouser, Executive Director of FWGBD, will join Amy Shapiro, MD,  Giancarlo Castaman, MD, and Anna Maria Fulghesy, MD for a roundtable discussion preceding the 13th BIC International Conference, taking place September 11, 2025, in Padua, Italy.

This roundtable will focus on:
– Signs and symptoms of a bleeding disorder in adolescents with HMB
– Steps needed for accurate diagnosis and timely management
– How a multidisciplinary team can work together to improve outcomes
– Perspectives from clinicians, researchers, and educational and advocacy leaders
