Please join FWGBD in celebrating Dr. Russell Ware, FWGBD Board Member, for his recent award from the National Heart, Lung, & Blood Institute (NHLBI). “Realizing Effectiveness Across Continents with Hydroxyurea (REACH): A Phase I/II Pilot Study of Hydroxyurea for Children with Sickle Cell Anemia” is a five-year grant, awarded at $7.7 million.
