Drs. Srivaths and Dietrich Honored as Baylor College of Medicine’s 2020 Women of Excellence

Our congratulations to Dr. Lakshmi Srivaths and Dr. Jennifer Dietrich, who were awarded Baylor College of Medicine’s 2020 Women of Excellence for their extraordinary work and dedication to the cause of women’s health. Dr. Srivaths and Dr. Dietrich are WGBD LAN members and have long demonstrated their support in increasing awareness of the unique needs of women and girls with blood disorders. 

Baylor College of Medicine’s Women of Excellence Award was established in 2018 to honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to issues that affect women at Baylor College of Medicine or in the larger community and who exemplify Baylor values. This prestigious award recognizes their service to the College through significant individual efforts leading to exceptional outcomes relevant to Baylor’s mission, vision and values; promoting diversity, inclusion and equity through their individual actions or programs; and extraordinary dedication to issues that affect women at Baylor College of Medicine or in the larger community. .
