2020 HTRS Research Colloquium: Developing a Sustainable Research Career in Hemostasis and Thrombosis

Join HTRS at its second biennial Research Colloquium – a dynamic meeting focused on professional development and networking in benign hematology.  The Colloquium is designed for:

• Basic Scientists
• Translational Researchers
• Clinicians/Physician-Scientists

The Research Colloquium will be held April 21-22, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E Wacker Drive, Chicago IL.

Travel Awards are available for residents, post-docs, fellows, instructors and junior faculty within seven years of completing fellowship.

Held immediately before the 2020 THSNA Summit, the Colloquium targets early-stage investigators (MDs, DOs, MD/PhDs, and PhDs) who have completed fellowship and/or postdoctoral training and are working to build sustainable academic research careers in hemostasis and thrombosis. Third- or fourth-year medical fellows and/or postdocs may apply to attend if they can demonstrate an established commitment to building a research career in hemostasis or thrombosis upon completion of training.

The Colloquium will:

• Support the professional development of physician-scientists and basic/translational science investigators targeting  early-stage investigators
• Provide a dynamic environment for networking that can lead to new mentor/mentee relationships and/or partnerships for collaborative research in hemostatic and thrombotic disorders

Early-stage investigators should Register for a Travel Award by January 24, 2020 at 6:00pm ET
General Registration is open until April 17, 2020 at 6:00pm ET
