Presented by the Foundation for Women & Girls+ with Blood Disorders

Objectives:

  1. To increase WGBD LAN members’ knowledge and understanding of the key elements of a Clinic of Excellence including the structure, best practices, and workings of a multidisciplinary team at a unique and effective Clinic.
  2. To increase provider knowledge of best practices for managing key challenges for WG+ with bleeding and thrombotic disorders to improve patient care and outcomes.
  3. To update and refine the key elements of a successful WGBD Clinic of Excellence, i.e., the Model, for creating such clinics.
  4. To bring together teams from each organization to maximize enhancing and implementing the key elements of a WGBDClinic of Excellence.
  5. To develop Clinic action plans to meet their Clinic objectives in relation to the key elements of the WGBD Clinic of Excellence Model.
  6. To continue to develop and support the collaborative research agenda for the WGBD LAN.
  7. To outline the elements and work plans for the WGBD Collaborative Research projects.
  8. To learn the strengths and benefits of collaborative care to implement the collaborative care model for WG+ with bleeding and other blood disorders.
