Conference Attendees Discussing

Agenda and Sessions

Join us for a program designed to educate across disciplines, spark collaboration, and promote innovation in practice. FWGBD 2020 will bring together over 300 healthcare providers across disciplines -- all dedicated to improving the care of women and girls with blood disorders. From engaging keynote speakers to in-depth breakout discussions, the program will provide a mix of "a-ha" moments and practical ideas you can take home. And because we know that the value of the conference doesn’t just take place in the meeting rooms, the agenda features ample time to connect with peers in the spaces in between and through lunches, receptions and roundtables.

A Welcome Reception will be offered Friday evening, September 25, from 6 to 8 PM in the Exhibit Hall, for those arriving that day. All registrants are welcome to join. The conference will begin at 8 am on Saturday, September 26, and will conclude by 11:30 AM on Sunday, September 27.

Continuing Medical Education

The Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders understands the importance of receiving Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for participation in conferences. In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Cine-Med and the Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders. Cine-Med is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  Healthcare providers should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Note: the conference is designed for medical professionals.  Due to space constraints, registration is limited to healthcare providers who serve women and girls with blood disorders.
